LaSalle Network is partnered with technology solutions company that is looking for a Sr. Solution Delivery Architect of Mainframe Storage to join the team. The ideal candidate will support TAPE and DASD functions, and bring a senior level of knowledge of mainframe storage management environments including CA-1, DFRMM, DFSMS, and equivalent. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, and is fully remote.

Sr. Solution Delivery Architect of Mainframe Storage Responsibilities:

• Manage and support enterprise-grade tape and disk storage systems (DASD) for mainframe environments
• Ensure storage infrastructure is prepared for disaster recovery testing, including replication management
• Troubleshoot and resolve storage-related issues during DR testing and document lessons learned
• Assist with new client migrations and prepare their storage for future DR readiness
• Act as a subject matter expert on storage during DR testing and escalate unresolved issues
• Design and implement storage solutions to meet client and business needs

Sr. Solution Delivery Architect of Mainframe Storage Requirements:

• 8+ years of experience in a senior-level role supporting z/OS environments, including tape and DASD functions
• In-depth knowledge of mainframe storage management solutions like DFSMS, FDR/ABR, CA-1, DFRMM, or similar tools
• Experience supporting disaster recovery within a mainframe environment
• Proven ability to migrate data between mainframe storage subsystems (tape and DASD)
• Experience opening support tickets with major storage vendors
• Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for creating client-facing documentation
• Understanding of data replication concepts
• Familiarity with Copy Services Manager (CSM) and IBM GRID technology
• Experience with DELL EMC PMAX, VMAX, and DLM storage systems
• Experience with Luminex recovery (a plus, but not required)
