Accunting Assistant Position Summary:
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and driven Entry-Level Accounting Assistant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate with up to one year of accounting experience looking to gain hands-on exposure in a supportive and fast-paced environment. The primary responsibilities will focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and bank reconciliations, with opportunities to learn and grow into broader accounting functions over time.

Key Responsibilities for Accounting Assistant:

• Process accounts payable invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payment to vendors

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations

• Assist with entering and maintaining financial transactions in the accounting system

• Support month-end and year-end close processes

• Help maintain organized financial records and support audits as needed

• Take on additional accounting tasks as assigned to support the team

Qualifications for Accounting Assistant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required)

• 0–1 year of accounting experience (internship experience counts)

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software

• Willingness to learn and take initiative in a team-oriented environment

• Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
