🌟 Now Hiring: Workday Purchasing Manager

📍 Location: Roanoke, VA (Remote, with the exception of being onsite 1 week a month) expenses will be accommodated for.

We are seeking a Workday Purchasing Manager to lead our Procurement Operations, oversee Workday purchasing functionality, and ensure accurate, efficient supply chain performance across our organization.

🚀 What You’ll Do

As our Workday Purchasing Manager, you will:

• Lead and optimize all purchasing activities within Workday Procurement
• Oversee a team responsible for purchasing, receiving, and invoice reconciliation
• Resolve complex purchasing, PO, and invoice matching issues
• Review purchasing activity to ensure best pricing and cost-effective decisions
• Approve capital and materials-related orders (equipment, supplies, pricing, freight, etc.)
• Partner with Accounts Payable to ensure accurate payment and vendor maintenance
• Work closely with Contracting & Supply Chain to support vendor and GPO utilization
• Maintain procurement reporting, KPIs, and financial accuracy of supply spend
• Train and mentor new buyers, ensuring standardized processes and Workday best practices
• Serve as the primary liaison between distributors, vendors, and our EDI partner

• Workday Procurement expertise (hands-on and in-depth knowledge required)
• Experience managing purchasing operations in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop teams
• Background in supply chain, purchasing, or procurement system management
• Excellent collaboration skills with Finance, AP, Supply Chain, and Vendors
• Strong analytical mindset and commitment to operational excellence
