Summary

Weekend Team - Inbound Retention Specialist - Sales - US - Remote at Yelp. This full-time role requires a permanent Saturday-Wednesday schedule with weekend hours in Pacific Time. You will support Yelp advertisers to retain and optimize their investments, delivering a 5-star customer experience.

What You'll Do

• Help strengthen Yelps revenue retention by providing exceptional and timely customer support
• Be logged into an inbound phone queue for the majority of your day, consulting and educating our current Yelp advertisers
• Show clients the value of Yelp by highlighting their investment returns through ad performance metrics
• Use strong listening and conflict resolution skills to handle escalated clients
• Become an expert in Yelps advertising solutions and adapt recommendations to client needs, asking probing questions and handling objections
• Exhibit strong communication skills with clients and internal teams
• Remain organized and efficient in a fast-paced environment
• Consistently achieve or exceed monthly goals

What It Takes To Succeed

• Bachelor's Degree or 3+ years of relevant client-facing experience
• Technical proficiency with computers and information systems
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Problem solving and troubleshooting ability
• Experience in account management, sales, advertising, or small business (preferred)
• Love for local businesses and understanding of their importance in local economies
• Excellent time management and organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to handle tough conversations with business owners in a professional, solutions-oriented manner
• Balance between consulting and supporting as needed
• Willingness to receive and implement feedback
• Adaptability to a fast-paced and changing environment
