Job Description – Web Developer

Position Title: Web Developer

Department: Marketing

Reports To: Marketing Director

Role Overview

As a Front-End Web Developer at MagnaWave PEMF, you will play a key role in building, maintaining, and optimizing dynamic, user-centric web platforms that align with our brand’s innovation and growth goals. You will leverage AI-driven tools, automation, and analytics to enhance user engagement, improve digital performance, and streamline data-driven marketing initiatives. Collaboration with our marketing, IT, and content teams will be essential in delivering high-performing, scalable, and intelligent digital experiences.

Core Duties and Responsibilities

Front-End Development

• Develop responsive, accessible, and visually compelling web interfaces aligned with MagnaWave PEMF’s brand and UX standards.
• Implement advanced front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular) and ensure optimal site performance across devices and browsers.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to accelerate coding efficiency and maintain high-quality code standards.
• Ensure compliance with web accessibility (WCAG) and SEO best practices.

AI and Automation Optimization

• Integrate AI-based content personalization and recommendation systems to enhance customer engagement.
• Implement AI-powered analytics and A/B testing tools to track behavior, conversions, and optimize UI/UX decisions.
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to utilize machine learning and automation in lead scoring, chatbots, and intelligent forms.
• Develop workflows that connect AI models (e.g., OpenAI APIs or similar) with the website for dynamic content or intelligent search.

Back-End Development and Integrations

• Customize and optimize WordPress themes, plugins, and headless CMS setups for flexibility and performance.
• Build and maintain RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless integration with CRMs, marketing automation tools, and e-commerce platforms.
• Develop and document automation processes for syncing data between the website, CRM systems (KEAP, Infusionsoft, Odoo), and analytics tools.

Performance, Maintenance, and Security

• Conduct ongoing site performance audits using tools such as Google Lighthouse, PageSpeed Insights, and GTmetrix.
• Implement best practices in cybersecurity, including SSL management, vulnerability scanning, and secure API access.
• Monitor uptime, page load speed, and AI-driven performance alerts to proactively resolve issues.

Cross-Department Collaboration

• Partner with sales and marketing to optimize conversion paths and landing pages using AI insights.
• Collaborate with content creators and designers to implement dynamic content and animations.
• Support internal teams by developing automated dashboards and reporting tools that visualize web performance metrics.
• Collaborate with Education to optimize Continued Education and learning flows.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and frameworks (React, Vue.js, Angular).
• Expertise in WordPress, including advanced theme and plugin development.
• Understanding of AI tools and APIs (e.g., OpenAI, TensorFlow Lite, Google Cloud AI, or ChatGPT integrations).
• Familiarity with CRM systems (KEAP, Infusionsoft, Odoo) and marketing automation platforms.
• Experience using Git/GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and modern DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in SEO, schema markup, and AI-assisted content optimization.
• Strong analytical mindset; experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Tag Manager, and AI analytics platforms.
• Knowledge of website accessibility standards (ADA/WCAG) and cybersecurity best practices.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple concurrent projects efficiently.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in professional front-end development.
• Experience implementing AI-driven web features and automation workflows preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting and working at a computer.
• Occasional movement throughout office, warehouse, or production areas.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds periodically.
