White Sands, a HumanGood life plan community (CCRC) in beautiful La Jolla, CA, is seeking individuals to join our wait staff team. We are here to ensure that our residents are provided with every opportunity to become their best selves as they define it, and this begins with YOU.  Part Time: Fri & Mon 11:15 a.m. - 7:15 p.m., Sat & Sun 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm Pay Range: $18.50 - $21.00 Job Duties: Greet residents and guests as they arrive in the dining room; Record food and beverage orders and input into POS system; Complete bussing, runner, meal plater, utility and catering duties as needed or assigned; Set up, clear and clean dining room ensuring tables are clean and disinfected (as appropriate); Take orders, serve food and beverages; Provide effective and courteous service to all residents, guests, vendors and fellow team members; Take note of safety concerns and needed repairs and report to supervisor; Responsible for adhering to HIPPA privacy rules and company policies; Requirements: Fast food or restaurant experience preferred; Experience working with seniors preferred; Food Handler’s or ServSafe certification preferred; Ability to communicate effectively (orally and written) with residents; Available on holidays, evenings and weekends Mission Essential You would display behavior that supports the mission, vision, behaviors, and values of HumanGood.
