• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) from NBSTA National Board of Surgical Technology
• BLS

Job Details

• Working in the cardiovascular OR, assisting surgeons by preparing the surgical field, passing instruments and supplies during surgery, maintaining a sterile environment, and ensuring the smooth flow of procedures.
• Assisting and passing in cases, assisting in turning over OR rooms to keep surgical cases flowing.

Job Requirements

• CST certification required; must be from NBSTA National Board of Surgical Technology.
• BLS certification required.
• 2 years experience required.
• Must have strong cardiac surgery skills.
• Thoracic daVinci experience.
• EMR: Cerner preferred.

Schedule Information

• Shift: 4 10-hour days (6:30am-5pm).
• On call as needed.
• Must work July 4th and Labor Day.
• Max amount of RTO: 1 week.
• Block scheduling will try to accommodate.
• Floating required: could float to main OR if needed.

Unit Specific Information

• Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) unit.

Additional Details

• Travelers submitted must attach required license and certifications or will be rejected.
• Must include driver's license/permanent home address on submission - address must match ID.
• Travelers must be greater than 50 miles from facility – local candidates not accepted.
