Job Description:

• Performs basic structural analysis using well defined analysis tools to develop the structural environment, characteristics and performance.
• Supports test execution and analyzes/reports test results to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Defines and documents certification and test results to substantiate for customers and regulatory agencies that requirements are satisfied.
• Supports in-service products by investigating failures and analyzing improvements. Works under general supervision.

Describe the project/day-to-day activities they will be working on:

• Design Center (PDC) supports aerospace programs throughout the Client enterprise including: 787, Airforce-1, Autonomous Systems, F-18, Space Launch Systems, Starliner, etc…
• PDC stress analysts provide substantiation for critical Client programs

What are the Top 3-5 HARD Skills REQUIRED to perform this role/job?

• Structural Analysis Experience, classical analysis and finite element analysis experience.

What are the Top 3-5 Skills PREFERRED to perform this role/job?

• Familiarity with Client tools
• Aerospace analysis experience

Education:

• Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
