General Summary

As a key leader in our store, you will be responsible for managing all employees and effectively planning and implementing store processes, including:

Duties and Essential Job Functions

  • Recruit, select, and retain qualified employees while ensuring compliance with federal and state labor laws.
  • Provide comprehensive training and conduct performance evaluations to foster employee growth.
  • Communicate performance and safety expectations regularly, promoting a culture of safety and security.
  • Ensure the store is adequately staffed and effectively opened and closed each day.
  • Analyze operating statements to identify business trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage inventory levels and ensure merchandise is presented according to established practices.
  • Maintain a clean, organized store environment that prioritizes customer service.
  • Follow company policies and procedures to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Skills

  • Ability to read and interpret various documents, including safety rules and procedures manuals.
  • Strong mathematical skills for calculations and cash handling.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
  • Good organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving abilities in diverse situations.
  • Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred in certain locations.

Work Experience and Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.

  • Fast-paced environment with moderate noise levels.
  • Occasional exposure to outside weather conditions.
