Job Description Job Description We are looking for an experienced Staff Accountant to join our team in Newport Beach, California. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property accounting and a solid understanding of accounting principles. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage a variety of financial tasks efficiently. Responsibilities: • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to verify financial data and resolve discrepancies. • Oversee the full-cycle month-end close process, including journal entries and financial reporting. • Conduct CAM reconciliations and ensure compliance with lease agreements. • Utilize Yardi software to maintain accurate financial records and reporting. • Prepare and analyze corporate tax returns and sales tax filings. • Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete. • Collaborate with the team to manage accounting for medical office buildings and senior housing properties.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property accounting or a similar role. • Proficiency in Yardi software is required. • Strong knowledge of corporate tax and sales tax processes. • Demonstrated ability to handle CAM and bank reconciliations. • Experience with full-cycle month-end close procedures. • Solid understanding of general ledger management and journal entries. • Excellent organizational and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.6b250ea6-cee3-481d-915c-f7283f1b2f1b
