Carolina PRG has partnered with a US HQ in the greater Fort Mill, SC area. This position will ensure the integrity of the accounting records with responsibility for payables and expense reporting and the month end close process. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree and prior experience with the GL, journal entries, and general accounting processes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Maintains company accounting records in an accurate, organized, efficient manner.
• Process Inventory Accounts Payable invoices.
• Understanding of Non-Inventory Accounts Payable process to be sufficient as a full backup.
• Expense Reporting, including processing monthly expense reports and managing the Company Credit Card process.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations in BlackLine and analyzes variances in account activity.
• Prepare and process General Ledger journal entries including monthly, quarterly and year-end journal entries.
• Assists with the interim and year-end audit process.
• Conducts special projects and other duties as needed and assigned.

Qualifications:

• BS Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
• 2+ years of experience
• Prior SAP experience is a plus
• Highly proficient with MS Excel
• Prior experience with Concur and/or Blackline is a plus
• Must be detailed oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision is a must.
• Desire to work in a highly collaborative team setting.
