Description

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) networking is seeking a dynamic and experienced product leader to shape the future of cloud computing for high performance computing. Customers are evolving rapidly, seeking ways to integrate large language ML models and generative AI into their organizations and applications. These customers depend on Amazon EC2 and EFA for elastic, high-performance, secure, and cost-effective resources to scale their infrastructure. As part of EC2, you will work with a team defining strategies and roadmaps to deliver performance, scale, and new features/products to customers. You will join the broader EC2 Product Management team, collaborating with other leaders to innovate and shape the future of the computing platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategy and execution for EC2 compute features and Elastic Fabric Adapter for high-performance computing.
  • Gather and incorporate customer input to inform product and roadmap decisions.
  • Collaborate across AWS, Amazon, and partners to deliver innovative solutions based on customer needs.
  • Define product requirements, set priorities, measure success, and track progress.
  • Communicate project status, strategy, risks, and issues to senior management.
  • Work closely with engineering teams and designers to deliver results.

The EC2 networking product team manages a portfolio of over 30 products and services, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and mentorship. Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product management experience in internet businesses.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
  • 3+ years of technical experience in software, network development, or related fields.
  • Experience leading products from conception through to market launch.
  • Experience managing large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products across their full lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of software/hardware/network development practices, including coding standards, source control, testing, and operations.
  • Experience working with agile teams delivering software products and features.
