Description

Amazon EC2 (Elastic Compute Cloud) networking is looking for a dynamic and seasoned product leader to help define and build the future of cloud computing for high performance computing. Customers are rapidly evolving, seeking ways to bring large language ML models and generative AI into their organizations and applications. These customers rely on Amazon EC2 and EFA for elastic, high-performance, secure, and cost-effective resources to scale their infrastructure according to their business needs. As part of EC2, you will work with a team that defines the strategy and roadmap for delivering this performance, scale, and new features/products to customers. As a member of the broader EC2 Product Management team, you'll collaborate with other product and engineering leaders to shape the future of the computing platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the definition and execution of the product strategy for EC2 compute features and Elastic Fabric Adapter for high-performance computing applications.
• Gather customer inputs to inform product and roadmap decisions.
• Collaborate with AWS, Amazon, and partner leaders to deliver innovations aligned with customer needs.
• Define product requirements, prioritize features, and track their execution and success.
• Communicate project status, strategy, risks, and issues to senior management.
• Work closely with engineering teams and designers to deliver results to customers.

Basic Qualifications

• 5+ years of technical product management experience in internet businesses.
• 5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• 3+ years of technical experience in software development, network development, IT, or related fields.
• Experience taking a product from conception through engineering design to market.
• Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS products, overseeing the full product lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of engineering practices across software/hardware/network development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, certification, and live site operations.
• Experience working within agile teams delivering software products and features.
