Senior Technician- Shipping/Receiving & Distribution

The Senior Technician- Shipping/Receiving & Distribution is responsible for assisting the leadership team in completing receiving and shipping functions accurately in a high-volume and fast-paced distribution operation.

This position reports to the Distribution Supervisor and is part of the Warehouse and Distribution team located in Hebron, KY and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Assist in directing work activities of other distribution associates related to receiving, storing, cycle counts, picks, packs and shipping materials
• Responsible for moderately complex assignments where considerable judgment and initiative are necessary in resolving problems and making recommendations
• Assists in developing new techniques and procedures that lead to greater department efficiency.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• High School diploma and 5+ years of experience
• Ability to make decisions that impact department function to hit operational targets and resource allocation.
• Uses ability and experience to develop specialized technical knowledge and/or skills in work area.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Previous experience as a leader in a distribution environment
• Proven history of sustainable continuous improvement actions
