Job Description We are looking for a Senior iOS developer to work on the development and maintenance of applications aimed at a range of iOS devices. These apps vary widely in technology stacks, industry, and clientele. Your primary focus will be taking over the existing iOS apps we've developed for clients. You should have experience integrating iOS apps with RESTful APIs and backend services, as well as technologies like Firebase. You will be working alongside other designers and developers working on other aspects of the product. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and the creation of quality products is essential. 52inc is a development agency. As a result, the products vary greatly and new projects are started regularly. The team size is fluid, depending on what the product needs. You should feel comfortable working as a part of a team, as well as on your own. Comfort making product-defining decisions is important. Responsibilities

• Design and build applications for the iOS platform
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Implement designs in a high-quality and extensive manner
• Support a variety of existing iOS products

Qualifications • Experience with both Objective-C and Swift

• 3-5 years professional experience of working with Cocoa Touch in Objective-C and/or Swift
• Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
• Knowledge of other web technologies and UI/UX standards
• Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
• Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is preferred
• Experience with performance and memory tuning with tools, such as Instruments and/or Shark
• Familiarity with push notification APIs
• Knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as git.
• Familiarity with SQL database concepts
