Your Mission is: The Analytics Insights team is seeking a talented Senior Data Analyst to work directly with and support partners such as Finance, Product, Player Insights, Sales, and Supply Chain, while also collaborating with studios for Call of Duty (COD). Your role involves driving data-driven decision-making through ad-hoc analysis, reporting, and dashboarding. You will work closely with cross-functional partners, business stakeholders, Activision leadership, and analytics peers to derive insights and provide strategic recommendations. Additionally, you will partner with Finance, Product, and Marketing teams to analyze game features, report revenue, and identify new opportunities to enhance player engagement and monetization.

Responsibilities

1. Support partners such as Finance, Product, Player Insights, Sales, and Supply Chain in cross-functional projects to uncover insights that guide strategic decisions and optimize opportunities.


2. Collaborate with stakeholders on topics related to fraud, disruptive behavior, franchise strategies, and mainline COD priorities.


3. Support and lead analytics initiatives within a cross-functional team, informing design and implementation decisions via dashboards and presentations.


4. Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex data into actionable insights.

Player Skills

• Bachelors degree in a technical field (e.g., data analytics, data science, statistics, economics, mathematics).


• 8+ years experience with SQL and R/Python for data analysis and visualization.


• Passion for storytelling through data, transforming complex datasets into compelling narratives.


• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience managing stakeholder relationships.


• Experience in gameplay analysis or knowledge of user engagement and monetization in gaming, entertainment, e-commerce, or mobile apps is a plus.
