QA Test Lead, Mobile

Location: Redmond, WA (On-Site)

Wheeler Staffing Partners is hiring an experienced QA Test Lead, Mobile for a full-time, direct hire, on-site role in Redmond, WA . This position offers the opportunity to lead QA testing for mobile applications in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. You’ll manage multiple testers, ensure quality from a customer perspective, and drive testing best practices in both lab and production settings.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain test cases and documentation
Execute manual and automated tests
Manage client SIMs and testing devices
Identify and triage defects using JIRA, Rally, or Quality Center
Provide testing updates, escalate issues, and maintain documentation
Mentor and manage QA team members
Lead meetings and deliver clear test status reports
Conduct domestic and international roaming testing as needed
Support off-hours testing (nights/weekends) based on project requirements

Qualifications

1–5 years of experience as a QA Test Lead
5+ years of QA or software testing experience
Strong understanding of SDLC (Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall)
Proficient in test tools such as JIRA, Rally, Quality Center
High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree preferred
ISTQB Certification preferred
Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Ability to manage resources and adapt to changing priorities
Experience in mobile testing and client-server environments
