Job Description

Our client is seeking a hands-on and motivated Production Supervisor to join their team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing daily production operations, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and leading a team to meet performance goals. What You Will Be Doing:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of production operations during off shifts, ensuring seamless workflow and adherence to production schedules.

• Lead and support team members in achieving daily production goals while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

• Monitor processes to ensure compliance with corporate quality and efficiency standards, actively participating in and guiding continuous improvement efforts.

What We Need From You:

• A proven track record of strong attendance, initiative, and the ability to train, coach, and lead production teams effectively.

• 3–5+ years of experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment.

• Ability to thrive under pressure, communicate clearly across teams, and adapt to shifting priorities—expect to discuss this in the interview.

• Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools such as 5-Why, Fishbone, TPM, and 5S.

• A hands-on leadership style with a willingness to “wear multiple hats” to support team success and operational goals.

All-Star Skillset:

• Proficiency with SAP and a solid understanding of plant-level systems and data tracking.

• Familiarity with automotive manufacturing concepts such as Just-in-Time (JIT), IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP, and related quality standards.

• Experience meeting OEM demands in fast-paced, high-volume environments, with strong awareness of OEE, plant KPIs, and leading shift teams.
