Practice Details Black Hills Surgical Hospital is seeking BE/BC Internal Medicine trained Hospitalist to the practice in Rapid City, SD.
* Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm
* Patient Care:
o Diagnosing, treating, and providing continuous care to inpatients.
o Optimize patients in our pre-surgical History and Physical Clinic.
* Care Coordination: Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, therapists, and specialists, to ensure a comprehensive plan of care.
* Medical Procedures: Ordering and interpreting tests, such as lab work and x-rays, and performing medical procedures.
* Medication Management: Prescribing and managing medications for inpatients.
* Communication: Communicating with patients and their families about their care and condition.
* Discharge Planning: Coordinating discharge planning and ensuring a safe transition for patients returning home.
* Collaboration: Working closely with other physicians, nurses, and staff to provide optimal patient care
