• Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

• Service Setting: Inpatient/Hospitalist Program
• Clinical Shift Schedule: 7 on / 7 off (night shifts)
• ICU: Open ICU with 24/7 Virtual ICU Coverage
• Team Size: 9 Physicians, 4 Advanced Practice Providers, 2 Scribes

• Collaboration: Strong working relationship with specialists and Emergency Medicine physicians

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
• Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with hospitalist experience
• Experience: Prior nocturnist or hospitalist experience preferred
• Other Qualifications: - Strong communication and teamwork abilities - Comfort managing patients in an open ICU setting

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide inpatient nocturnal hospitalist coverage
• Manage patient admissions, cross-cover issues, and collaborate with on-call specialists
• Work closely with APPs and scribes during night shifts
• Ensure continuity of care and accurate documentation
• Participate in quality improvement and hospitalist team initiatives
