LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing distribution company located in Elizabeth, NJ. We are in search of a dependable and detail-oriented Part-Time Administrative Assistant to support daily operations including data entry, event calendar management, budget tracking, order processing, and invoice reconciliation. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate with a degree in Economics or Finance, someone with 1–2 years of administrative experience, or a retired professional with strong computer skills seeking a flexible part-time schedule.

Part-Time Administrative Assistant

Location : Elizabeth, NJ
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 8:00 AM – 12:30 PM
Compensation: $18 – $22 per hour

About the Role:
This is a great opportunity for a recent college graduate with a degree in Economics or Finance, or a retired professional with strong computer skills, looking for a flexible part-time role. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of administrative experience and be comfortable supporting a busy office with a variety of tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain internal databases
  • Manage and update the company’s event calendar
  • Assist with budget tracking and allocation
  • Process and track purchase orders
  • Reconcile invoices and support accounts payable functions
  • Provide general administrative support to the team

Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of administrative or office support experience preferred
  • Recent graduate with a degree in Economics or Finance encouraged to apply
  • Retired professionals with strong computer skills are welcome
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
