Job Description

Salary: $80,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• Expert knowledge in Python/Django and Ruby
• Extensive experience with Python/Django and Ruby in production settings
• Over 5 years of professional experience in mobile application development
• Proficient hands-on experience with cross-platform frameworks like Flutter, React Native, or Xamarin
• Comprehensive understanding of mobile application architecture, state management, and lifecycle patterns
• Proven track record with mapping SDKs, geolocation services, and navigation logic
• Strong experience utilizing Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows
• Ability to work independently, make architectural decisions, and mentor fellow engineers
• Exceptional debugging, testing, and performance optimization capabilities
• Prior experience in navigation, transportation, or real-time data platforms (preferred)
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments that demand speed, ownership, and adaptability (preferred)
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and cloud-based or DevOps workflows (preferred)

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for both iOS and Android
• Review, refactor, and enhance an existing codebase with an emphasis on scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Lead API integrations that facilitate authentication, data synchronization, and real-time updates
• Implement and optimize mapping, geolocation, and navigation features using services like Google Maps, Mapbox, or OpenStreetMap
• Integrate third-party location and discovery services such as Mapbox, Foursquare, and Yelp
• Establish and enforce standards for clean architecture, modular coding, testing, and performance enhancement
• Collaborate closely with UI/UX designers to transform product requirements into user-friendly, polished mobile experiences
• Lead code reviews to elevate overall engineering quality and consistency
• Troubleshoot intricate issues across different devices, operating systems, and environments
• Enhance and support deployment workflows throughout development, staging, and production
