About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Key Account Manager to lead the development, management, and growth of strategic client relationships. As the primary point of contact for key accounts, you will ensure customer satisfaction by aligning our solutions with client needs and driving sustained revenue growth. This role requires close collaboration with internal teams, contract negotiation, and proactive identification of upselling and expansion opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, execute, and refine customer strategies to drive sustainable and profitable growth for key clients.
  • Identify high-potential growth opportunities and align internal resources and capabilities to secure design-in wins.
  • Collaborate with global sales and PLM teams to implement unified customer and product strategies.
  • Analyze client organizational structures to effectively guide strategic business development initiatives.
  • Oversee sales and demand-generation activities, ensuring timely delivery of accurate sales reports and insights.
  • Build and maintain strong executive relationships; engage with C-level decision-makers to establish strategic partnerships between senior leadership and client executives.
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, FAEs, and management to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Coordinate effectively with business units and headquarters’ functional teams to ensure aligned execution.
  • Drive new client acquisition in the North American region, demonstrating proven “ice-breaking” and relationship-building capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, marketing, or key account management, preferably in cloud networking or AI-optical markets.
  • Location: Must be based in the Bay Area, CA or Seattle Area, WA to support customer and operational needs.
  • Proven track record of penetrating, developing, and managing key accounts.
  • Highly self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deliver persuasive business proposals.
  • Resilient under pressure from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and a solutions-oriented mindset.
