International Tax Attorney

A growing company committed to providing innovative solutions to their clients, is seeking a highly skilled International Tax Attorney to join its dynamic legal team.

Responsibilities:

• Provide expert advice on complex international tax matters, including cross-border transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and global tax planning.
• Conduct thorough tax research and analysis to identify potential tax risks and opportunities.
• Prepare and review tax filings, including transfer pricing documentation, tax returns, and other regulatory filings.
• Represent the company before tax authorities in various jurisdictions, including audits and tax disputes.
• Stay current on evolving tax laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, accounting, and business development, to ensure tax compliance and optimize tax strategies.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the bar in good standing.
• LL.M. in Taxation preferred.
• Experience in international tax law, preferably with a focus on financial services.
• Strong understanding of U.S. federal and state tax laws, as well as international tax treaties and conventions.
• Experience working with tax authorities in multiple jurisdictions.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Prior experience working for law firm is highly desired.
