Salary: $25-$30/hr or competitive salary, depending on experience

Responsible for designing, planting and maintaining flower gardens and containers, annual and perennial beds and herb and vegetable gardens.

Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of plants and growing conditions and requirements
• Familiarity with pests and diseases
• Attention to detail to meet Oceanview standards
• Bulk order plants in early spring
• Familiarity of local and non local vendors
• Ability to design perennial and annual plant beds
• Organizational skills and ability to manage and schedule maintenance route
• Client communication and upsell opportunities
• Estimate time and material for flower pot and garden planting

Qualification:

• Proven experience in vegetable gardening or horticulture.
• Strong knowledge of organic & horticultural techniques, soil health, and plant care.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Physical stamina to handle labor-intensive tasks (lifting, bending, digging).
• Good communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for sustainable agriculture and a love of nature.

Preferred:

• Knowledge of irrigation systems
