As a Dog Walker, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of dogs while providing them with exercise, companionship, and care. Your experience with animal handling and customer service will be essential in creating a positive experience for both the pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Walk dogs of various sizes and breeds, ensuring their safety and well-being during outings.
• Provide basic training commands to dogs during walks to reinforce good leash manners.
• Monitor the health and behavior of dogs, reporting any concerns to pet owners.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for pets, including picking up after them during walks.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their dog's needs and any observations made during walks.
• Manage multiple clients' schedules efficiently to ensure timely service.
• Provide additional services such as pet sitting or grooming when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in dog handling, including knowledge of dog training techniques and animal care practices.
• Veterinary technician or assistant experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with animal restraint techniques and heavy lifting capabilities for larger breeds.
• Previous experience in customer service, demonstrating strong communication skills.
• Background in pet grooming or kennel work is a plus.
