About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for Institutional Advancement and College Foundation. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program to support the college and foundation's priorities. This includes managing a portfolio of major gift donors, cultivating relationships with corporate partners, and ensuring the foundation meets its fundraising goals. The role also involves collaborating with the Board of Directors and College President, overseeing the foundation's financial operations, and leading a team of development professionals. Applicants for the Executive Director position should have a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years of relevant development experience, with a preference for those who have worked in higher education. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of securing 6+ figure gifts, experience with capital campaigns, and knowledge of grants and funding sources. Leadership skills are essential, as the role requires mentoring and managing a team, as well as increasing engagement with the Board of Directors. The Executive Director will be expected to be a stellar team player, manager, and mentor, with the ability to serve as a frontline fundraiser and oversee the day-to-day operations of the foundation. CFRE certification is a plus.
