About the Role:

As the Director of Security at Hudson Regional Hospital (HRH), you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our patients, staff, and visitors. You will oversee the development and implementation of security policies and procedures, as well as manage a team of security personnel. Your main goal will be to maintain a safe and secure environment for all who enter our facility.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in security management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Experience managing a team of security personnel.
• Strong knowledge of security policies and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in criminal justice, security management, or a related field.
• Certification in security management.
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Experience with emergency management and response.
• Experience with security technology, such as access control systems and CCTV.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure the safety of patients, staff, and visitors.
• Manage a team of security personnel, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
• Monitor and analyze security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a coordinated approach to security.
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to security incidents.

Skills:

In this role, you will utilize your strong leadership and communication skills to manage a team of security personnel and collaborate with other departments. Your knowledge of security policies and procedures will be essential in developing and implementing effective security strategies. Additionally, your experience in emergency management and response will be valuable in ensuring a quick and effective response to any security incidents. Finally, your familiarity with security technology will allow you to effectively utilize access control systems and CCTV to maintain a safe and secure environment.
