Job Description As a Data Scientist at AutoZone, you’ll be the analytical powerhouse behind our business solutions. Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES - Partner with senior data scientists and leadership to understand business needs.
- Research and design innovative statistical models for data analysis.
- Communicate insights clearly to stakeholders across the organization.
- Mine and analyze data to optimize product development, marketing, and business strategies.
- Develop predictive models to improve customer experience and revenue generation.
- Build and maintain A/B testing frameworks and monitor model performance.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement models and track outcomes.
Qualifications What We Are Looking For - Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, or related field ( Master’s preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in statistical analysis and data modeling.
- Proficiency in SQL, SAS, and programming languages such as R or Python.
- Strong knowledge of statistical techniques (e.g., regression, cluster analysis , time series modeling).
- Ability to communicate complex findings in a clear, actionable way.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for problem-solving.
You’ll Go the Extra Mile If You Have - Advanced experience in predictive modeling and pattern recognition.
- Expertise in developing custom algorithms and data models.
- Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and model quality assessment.
- A track record of leveraging data to drive measurable business outcomes.
