Working as a key member of our team, the Automotive Consultant is responsible for creating a world-class experience for every visitor to our showroom. The Automotive Consultant is a well-informed adviser who is extremely knowledgeableabout vehicle selection, performance, accessories, efficiencies, safety, and features/benefits. Our Automotive Consultants confidently present new and pre-owned vehicles in an exciting and highly informative fashion. They maintain an ongoing relationship with our clients to promote long-term satisfaction and loyalty. The Automotive Consultant position plays a vital role in the dealership's commitment to provide the highest level of service to our guests. Candidates for this position must be able to: Make personal connections with our guests Work quickly and efficiently Communicate with a smile Speak and dress professionally Work for our guests until the job is complete Dave Gill Chevrolet offers among the most competitive, progressive pay plans in the city for Automotive Consultants. Compensation for entry-level Automotive Consultants is based upon a guaranteed salary, with the potential to earn significant additional income through volume-based bonuses. The pay plan is designed to provide stable income to those candidates interested in the auto industry but wary of compensation plans based solely on sales commissions. RESPONSIBILITIES

Creates memorable experiences for our guests Maintains relationships with customers through their entire ownership lifecycle Expertly helps customers locate/select vehicles and options best suited to the customers' needs Employs new technologies to communicate with and present information to our customers Articulates vehicle selection, attributes, model options, features, purchase and finance options, and dealership policies/services Responsibly conducts a vehicle test drive Completes all sales documentation in a comprehensive and accurate manner Facilitates delivery by providing a clear explanation of vehicle and features operation, warranty, and servicing requirements Maintains currency with regard to promotions, financing options, value-add products/services, servicing plans, and industry trends Performs other duties as assigned
